Megan St. Clair Weisberg is an accomplished communications, public relations, and event professional. Her career includes working as Assistant Director of Communications for Stanford Law School, serving as a public relations specialist for Latham & Watkins -- the second largest law firm globally, and working on Capitol Hill as a congressional staffer for a Member of Congress. In May 2008 Megan turned her event production expertise to her own wedding. Recognizing her passion for the "special day" and her attention to detail and organizational skills, she launched MW WEDDINGS, which is recognized as a preferred vendor with many presitigious venues, including the Art Institute of Chicago.

Megan has hosted, coordinated and executed events ranging from small weddings to high-profile corporate and government events. In 2005 and 2006 she managed the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) annual ENERGY STAR banquet, the EPA's most prestigious awards event with more than 500 guests including the U.S. Secretary of Energy and other senior government and corporate officials. Megan manages all aspects of weddings including site selection, vendor recommendations, decor ideas, lighting and audio-visual production suggestions, invitation design, on-site vendor communications, menu selection and those "unexpected" items that accompany any event. She also provides event finance guidance to help couples complete their wedding on budget.

A stint abroad living in Paris, France exposed Megan to a way of life that focuses on savoring each moment, a philosophy which Megan transitions to her planning; she strives to take the stress out of designing the wedding so couples can relax and enjoy the planning process along with the big day. The actual wedding itself goes by in a blink of an eye viewing the whole planning process as part of the "wedding" allows couples to extend the magic of the big day, and with Megan helping they can have fun with it.

A native of Santa Monica, California, she now resides in Chicago.
